The Discovery Wall

• Sponsored by Atmos Energy, the Discovery Wall located within the Kahn Pavilion is a 14x14-foot flat screen wall that allow the children of Dallas to travel around the globe. This two-way communication enables Dallas students to interact with people from around the world, including zoos, museums, and more. You can request a Discovery Wall Field Trip here.

  • Atmos Energy Bus Scholarship to the Discovery Wall

Dallas Public Library can help teachers provide Discovery Wall field trips for their students by providing a stipend to cover transportation costs thanks to the generosity of Atmos Energy.Please note that all scholarships must be processed through a school or organization, not individuals. In order to process your request and send a check prior to the day of the field trip, scholarship requests should be received two months in advance. Requestor is responsible for booking transportation and determining transportation expense. Contact the Youth Discovery Center childrens@dallas.gov to make a request for a transportation scholarship.
