ABOUT US
The J. Erik Jonsson Central Library serves as a neighborhood library for the residents and employees of Downtown Dallas, a community gathering space for large-scale events and as a hub for research. The Central Library is an attraction in its own right with eight floors of public art, incredible city views, hands-on activities for all ages and miles of browsable books, magazines, CDs and more.

PARKING INFORMATION
The J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is located at the corner of Young and Ervay Streets, across from City Hall. The entrance to the underground parking garage is located on the Wood Street side of the library building. The overhead clearance for the garage is 7’3". Parking is limited to Library and Vital Statistics customers only. After hours parking is not permitted. Metered street parking and near-by lots are another option. Return materials any time at the book/media drops on Ervay Street
